Pier / Jetties Fishing

The public has access to two piers in the Port Canaveral area. The fishing pier in Jetty Park offers fishing along the south jetty at the mouth of the inlet. Flounder, sheepshead, snook, redfish, and mackerel are among the many species available to shore-bound anglers. Cleaning tables and water are provided for preparing your fresh catch for the dinner table. The Cocoa Beach Fishing Pier is the second option and is located a few mile south of the Port. Angler's pay a nominal fee for access to snook, flounder, sharks, whiting, black drum, redfish, spanish and more. This pier extends from the beach and also features restaurants and shops. Either place makes for easy access to Florida’s prime fishing opportunities.
