Wahoo

One of the most prized fish caught throughout Florida, Bahamas, and the Caribbean Islands is the Wahoo. Known for its fierce strikes and screaming runs, this fish can reach speeds of 60 mph.

Fishermen often troll ballyhoo and artificial lures (at speeds up to 20 knots) to catch these gamesters. However, live baiting over reefs and wrecks can also be very productive. Reaching weights of over 100 lbs this fish is a worthy adversary for any sport fishermen.
